Genesis 7

Yahweh said to Noah, “Come with all of your household into the ark, for I have seen you to be righteous before me in this generation.
You are to take seven pairs of every clean animal with you, the male and his female. Of the animals that are not clean, take two, the male and his female.
Also of the birds of the heavens, seven pairs, a male and a female, to keep seed alive on the face of all the earth.
In seven days I will cause it to rain on the earth for 40 days and 40 nights. Every living thing that I have made I will blot out from the surface of the ground.”
Noah did according to all that God commanded him.
Noah was 600 years old when the flood came: waters upon the earth.
Noah went into the ark with his sons, and his wife and his sons’ wives because of the waters of the flood.
The clean animals, the animals that are not clean, the birds, and everything that crawls on the ground,
came by pairs to Noah into the ark, male and female, as God commanded Noah.
And after the seven days the waters of the flood came on the earth.
In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the same day all the fountains of the great deep were burst open and the windows of heaven were opened.
The rain fell on the earth 40 days and 40 nights.
On that same day Noah, and Shem and Ham and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife and the three wives of his sons with them, entered into the ark,
they and every kind of wild animal, every kind of livestock, every kind of crawling thing that crawls on the earth, and every kind of bird: every chirping bird, every winged bird.
And they went to Noah into the ark; pairs of all flesh in which there is the breath of life.
Those that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, just as God had commanded him; and Yahweh shut him in.
The flood was 40 days on the earth. The waters increased and lifted up the ark, and it was lifted up above the earth.
The waters rose and greatly increased upon the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the waters.
The waters rose very very high upon the earth. And all the high mountains that were under all the heavens were covered.
The waters rose 15 cubits upward, and the mountains were covered.
All flesh that moved on the earth took its last breath—birds, livestock, animals, every swarming thing that swarms on the earth, and all humankind—
all in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life of all that was on the dry land died.
Every living thing that was on the face of the ground was blotted out, from humankind, to livestock, to creeping things, to birds of the heavens. They were blotted out from the earth. Only Noah remained, and those who were with him in the ark.
The waters rose over the earth 150 days.
